MARPOL convention Annex VI on Regulations for the Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships

introducing global restrictions on sulfur content for fuels to 0,1 % S (from 2020 or 2025 at the latest), together with Regional and Local restrictions from EU Sulfur Directive, and US Code of Federal Regulations provides a need for wide range of ships sailing in SECA and ECA waters to control NOX & SOX emissions to air.

Our design office will take care of the design in all disciplines: Hull Structure, Strenght Calculations, Stability, Deck Equipment, Machinery & Piping together with Electrical Design & Automation.


 

STEP 1 – FEASIBILITY STUDY

We provide comprehensive study evaluating few Exhaust Gas Scrubbing Systems solutions taking into consideration actually existing structures and systems, scope of necessary modifications, space reservation, material cost estimation. To make reliable report - 3D Laser scanning of the subjected area is provided what significantly increases the precision of the evaluation study. Our professional Feasibility Study gives the customer a reliable basis for accurate decisions.

STEP 2 – CONCEPT DESIGN – THE FOUNDATION

After decisions are made, that Scrubbers’ systems are going to be used – it is time to provide Concept Design – basic study of chosen Exhaust Gas Cleaning Method, and major documents describing the project. This is a fundamental work – and we guarantee that this foundation is rock solid.

STEP 3 – BASIC DESIGN

After the Conceptual Design is finished and direction of modification is approved by the owner – we provide more detailed documentation, updated with some information from Procurement Process on major equipment data, some major P&ID’s Drawings and Electrical Drawings.

STEP 4 – CLASS DESIGN

Complete set of documentation required for relevant Class Approval. We have extensive experience with major Class Societies from IACS . For 20 years of newbuilt vessels, repairs and conversions – we have been working with DNV-GL, ABS, LR, RINA, BV, PRS and others.

STEP 5 – WORKSHOP DOCUMENTATION

Production information given in clear and precise documentation. We have our own standards developed by 20 years of experience with Shiprepair & Newbuildings Yard – but if necessary we can deliver documents according to customer’s requirements.

STEP 6 – ON SITE SUPERVISION

Thanks to our long time cooperation with Newbuilding Yard and Shiprepair Yard – our skilled engineers are familiar with on-site problems and ways of production. We can assist on site – taking care of arising problems during the project execution at any conversion Yard or onboard.

STEP 7 – AS BUILT

 Finalization of the works – updating of the existing documents, and providing new ones. Documentation may be delivered in 3D if required.

Thanks to the newest technology – we can minimize the time of vessel stay of hire for works in Yard. We are providing 3D Laser Scaning Services – basing on our Scanner, and our skilled team of engineers – trained to obtain all relevant information about existing situation onboard.
Point Cloud obtained from 3D Laser Scanning– is transferred to our 3D Environment – where we can design all the required structures, piping and equipment, to avoid costly mistakes and collisions when installing onboard.
We are using latest software to provide high quality documentation.
