The JANTAR UNITY ferry has left the Remontowa Shiprepair Yard S.A., concluding an extremely intensive and demanding period. Tomorrow, on the 17th of January 2025, in Szczecin, its ceremonial christening will take place – an event that will symbolically crown months of design, analysis, technical decisions, and close collaboration between many teams.
For us, the design office Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting Sp. z o.o., this is a particularly special moment. We are immensely proud of the project we delivered – from the initial assumptions and concept, through basic, detail and workshop design, to supporting the shipyard during construction as well as during the first commissioning and acceptance tests (both dock and sea trials), and finally to as built documentation and the last visit of our team onboard.
JANTAR UNITY proves that Polish technical expertise, design competence, and consistency in action can successfully deliver modern, complex maritime units. We would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in the project – the design teams, partners, contractors, the shipyard, and all specialists who contributed their knowledge, experience, and immense effort. This is the result of true collaboration, responsibility, and a shared drive toward a common goal!
This project also represents new opportunities for Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting Sp. z o.o. – confirms of our potential, competence, and readiness to undertake even more advanced and ambitious projects in the maritime and offshore sectors.
This is not all we are capable of and aspire to do. This project is a prelude to the next ambitious projects ahead of us. We are not slowing down – we are moving forward!
