We are pleased to announce that RMDC has signed an agreement with the Remontowa Shiprepair Yard to prepare documentation for the retrofit of the Vaitere 2. The ship Vaitere 2 (ex. “With Nord”) to be lengthened by cutting the existing vessel and installation a new 15 meters insert block.
Most of detailed and workshop documentation is prepared by design office of Remontowa Marine Design & Consulting (RMDC) in Gdansk. RMDC scope of works cover hull construction, deck equipment documentation, accommodation, machinery systems and electric documentation as well as supervision on site.
Features of retrofit vessel are increased deadweight and cargo capacity which fits directly into the requirements of higher efficiency of vessels in our case obtained by increasing the load capacity index in relation to the lightship weight.
